Ngunguru school and S.W.A.T. restore Snell Point Reserve
A wonderful morning was spent with spades and feet in the mud at Snell Point reserve on June 26th, 2025.
The Ngunguru 4th and 5th graders joined S.W.A.T. in an effort to plant native trees and shrubs where once were invasive Agapanthus. A very cheerful and engaging experience, every kid seriously focused in planting their share of plants to better the park and attract native birds.
Teachers and grandparents stayed at the back to make sure that no toes would get chopped in the process. The kids were so excited that are calling for more. And more there will be…stay tuned.
