Plant native trees at Wolley’s bay dunes
We are continuing our restoration project in Wolley’s Bay dunes. After the big weeding efforts on hundreds of cotoneasters by S.W.A.T. volunteers in the past 1.5 years we are ready to have a planting day!
Tawapou kindly donated a few pohutukawa trees and five fingers so we need to put them in the ground to give Wolley’s bay dunes a more native look.
When: Saturday the 13th, 9 am to 12 pm
Where: Meet at Wolley's beach campground
What: bring your hard boots and spade and desire to regenerate the inner dunes with native greens
Rewarding lunch will be offered to the kind planters, bring your friends and family!
